Villanova offers outstanding graduate programs in a variety of areas. The
Villanova School of
Business, recently recognized by Business Week, provides graduate
degrees in business such as an Executive MBA, Professional MBA, Full-Time
Equivalent MBA (accelerated evening MBA), Master of Technology Management,
Master of Science in Finance, Master of Accountancy, a combined Juris
Doctor/MBA and a Master of Taxation.
In the
College of Liberal Arts and Science, there are over 20 graduate degree
programs and over 35 graduate certificate programs. These degree and
certificate programs are found in disciplines throughout the sciences such
as Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Computing Science, throughout the
humanities such as Communication, English, History and Theatre, and in
several applied or professional fields such as Education, Human Resource
Development and Public Administration.
The
College of Engineering, offering most of its graduate degrees fully online,
is recognized for its graduate programs for the working adult and the
outstanding research facilities.
The
College of Nursing – an NLN Center of Excellence in Nursing Education –
offers a PhD in
Nursing and MSN concentrations in Nursing Education, Health Care
Administration, Nurse Anesthesia and Nurse Practitioner (Adult, Geriatric,
Pediatric). Post-master's certificates are also available.
The
School of Law will
be represented at the Open House and seminars about Law School and entry
testing will be held.
Through
Part-Time and
Continuing Studies, Villanova offers degree programs in a variety of majors
as well as non-credit professional certificate programs. Credit classes are
offered in convenient evening and weekend formats as well as FastForward
Classes (combination of in-class and on-line instruction). The Bachelor of
Interdisciplinary Studies degree was designed specifically for the working
adult and offers majors in Information Systems, Leadership Studies and
General Studies.
Continuing Studies
programs are offered in paralegal studies, human resource management (PHR
preparation), project management (PMP preparation), fund raising, drug and
alcohol counseling, supply chain management and are available both on and off campus. Additional
non-credit certificate programs (Six Sigma, Project Management, Contract
Management and Finance & Accounting) are offered on-line.
